Looking for the perfect honeymoon destinations is always a hard job, you want to find the best vacation destinations to spend quality time with your partner and celebrate your newly married life. This time, I had the opportunity to board the incredible Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady, one of the best all-inclusive vacations I have ever had the pleasure to experience.

What to Do Aboard The Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady, One of the Best Cruises 2022
Virgin Voyages offers numerous destinations all around the world. This time I chose to explore the Caribbean, visiting Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Bimini Beach in the Bahamas sailing from their home port in Miami.
Before boarding the Scarlet Lady cruise ship, you will need to download the Virgin Voyages app on the app store here for apple, and here for android. This will be your best friend on the Scarlet Lady cruise ship, here you will be able to book everything from fitness classes to entertainment aboard. You can also pre-book your dinner reservations in one of the many top restaurants the Virgin cruises offer.
I was completely amazed from the moment I stepped into Terminal V at PortMiami. Once you board the Scarlet Lady cruise ship, you can admire the flawless design characteristics of the Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady. Every single space takes your breath away and will make for perfect postcard pictures with your lover.
I stayed in the Sea Terrace Cabin. This room is fully equipped with a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy astonishing views while you have a drink and relax with your partner. All rooms are eco-friendly and have an all-night delivery service for your midnight cravings. And speaking about food (The best part of course), you have the opportunity to choose from over twenty different restaurants with Michelin-starred chefs aboard the Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady. The best part? They are also open 24/7.
I had the opportunity to visit The Wake, where they specialize in steak and seafood. The Dock House offers delicious Mediterranean food. Extra Virgin offers Italian food where I had incredible pasta and Pink Agave offers Mexican food for those who love spicy (BTW you can’t live without trying their bread pudding, it’s a must & also try their cocktails they have their own mezcalier in Pink Agave).
There are also Vegan/Vegetarian options and healthy food options for those who want to take care of that summer body. There are also several options of dessert for the sugar addicts, who can ever say no to ice cream right? Lemon pie was my favorite flavor.
Apart from these, if you are looking for something simpler, hot off the Press, Burger Bar, Well Bread, and Diner & Dash will be your favorites. There are many more to offer, as I said, there are over twenty different top restaurants to pick from, it is insane!
Apart from the food, all the necessary non-alcoholic drinks are covered with your stay on the Scarlet Lady cruise ship, and with an extra $300 you can enjoy unlimited cocktails and an extra $50 to spend at any of the bars onboard. The cocktails were delicious and there were so many to pick from, the drink’s menu truly meets every person’s needs.
One of the best parts onboard was definitely the entertainment. I had a blast on the different in-cruise events the Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady has to offer. From cabarets to dance parties and theatrical productions, there is always something new to do onboard. The late-night cabaret is a great plan for couples, so don’t forget to attend this event.
My favorite space was The Manor, the captivating nightclub that starts off the night with a show and then turns into a club where you can party all night long. I also loved doing karaoke at The Groupie and enjoyed a dip in the pool at the Aquatic Club.
The RockStar VIP status can bring you many extra benefits. You are granted access to Richard’s Rooftop, an exclusive private lounge where you can enjoy a delicious pre-dinner cocktail and members-only parties. There is also a complimentary Happy Hour every day from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, so worth it. You are also granted access to Richard’s Retreat in Bimini which was fabulous. One of the best perks though is the 3-hour spa pass where you can enjoy a salt stone sauna, steam rooms, and an indoor pool and fully relax with your partner after a long day.
A Caribbean Getaway with your Love in the Best Honeymoon Destinations
After boarding and cruising for a whole day, we finally got to our first stop: Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic where we got to experience the beautiful Waterfalls of Damajagua. This experience is all about adrenaline, you will be able to discover one-of-a-kind wildlife while you make your way to the Waterfalls of Damajagua. After the 40-minute hike, you will have arrived at the stunning attraction, where you will get to enjoy natural waterslides and caverns with pools of mountain water. I had so much fun getting in touch with nature!
You will also get to explore the Dominican Republic on a super cute two-seater buggy, this way you won’t miss any of its natural beauty and attractions. This country is filled with cultural richness, and its people are incredibly warm and will make you feel at home.
After a day in Puerto Plata, our journey continues to get to our next stop: Bimini in the Bahamas. In Bimini you get a guided interactive tour of North Bimini, where you can get in touch with the culture and history of the island. I loved this tour because we got to know over six different historical and famous spots and we were given delicious sample local dishes to try. The views completely took my breath away with its white sand and crystal clear water beaches.
Of course, we could not leave without experiencing the Bimini Beach Cabana. Here you can enjoy luxurious comfy beds, drinks, and exclusive service. In the Bimini Beach Club, you can also enjoy yoga classes and bonfires at night. Everything about this club was top-notch, it elevates your experience on the beach and truly makes you relax, all of your needs will be met here.
Sadly, it was now time to go back home. Miami was expecting us with open arms after one of the dreamiest all-inclusive vacations I have ever had! These honeymoon destinations will take you and your partner’s breath away. Not only do you get to enjoy beautiful Caribbean beaches and culture, but you also get to relax and enjoy the different sets of activities the Scarlet Lady cruise ship has to offer.
After this experience, I can truly say the Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady is upping the bar for all-inclusive vacations, and I cannot wait to go back. This is one of the best options for honeymoon destinations and you and your partner will get the experience of a lifetime.
