Just because the new year has just begun it doesn’t mean we need to stop enjoying a good cocktail every once in a while. It has always been a struggle to find truly easy cocktails that taste just as good as their happy hour cocktails counterparts you find at bars. When I found Lobos 1707, I knew this was the best tequila and the best mezcal I could get creative with.
Lobos 1707 is an award-winning premium tequila brand, and it is one of the top tequila brands in the world. They have honored their tradition since the beginning of their brand to create top-class tequila that can be enjoyed by everyone. I love the fact that the brand carries such a rich history and has only refined its liquids over the years to continue its legacy.
Easy Cocktails with Lobos 1707: The Siesta Cocktail
It’s such a bummer every time I want to have a nice cocktail but don’t want to leave the comfort of my home. I am no cocktail expert by any means and I’ve always struggled to find tequila cocktails I actually like apart from the good old traditional margaritas. Once I found the best tequila Lobos 1707, I knew I had to try it out on a cocktail.
In this recipe, I used the Lobos 1707 Tequila Joven which pairs excellently with all of the citrus family and has strong notes of Blue Weber agave. This one is perfect for beginners and elevates any cocktail.
I decided to try out the Siesta cocktail this time, it is made of tequila, Campari, grapefruit juice, and lime juice. This is the perfect mix of citruses and Lobos 1707 Tequila Joven. The sweetness of the best tequila mixed with the bitterness of the Italian aperitif Campari perfectly lays down the flavors to enjoy a nice fruity and spicy drink.
