Hello! Recently I had the opportunity to have one of the best experiences in my entire life, Colombia vacation!
Maybe it sounds kind of normal, but it isn’t. Colombia is next to my native country, Venezuela. So, it feels like a very close nation to me, and I had a lot of time wanting to go there.
I decided to explore wonderful small towns in Colombia, and I found one of the best Colombia vacation spots during my whole trip and I wanted to share it with you.
Discovering Colombia Vacation Spots: Quindio
You are going to find there are a lot of mountains, with very relaxing weather, a place to have the best tropical vacations between mountains.
Even though you must be wondering something like, what can I do in Quindo? Well, let me suggest three unique activities that won’t disappoint you.
The first one is in the same town. If you look at some Quindo pictures, you will find the tremendous colonial village. Very small and breathtaking, it takes you back to the colonial era. You can walk around and get some souvenirs or enjoy a typical Colombian coffee. Yeah, they are the coffee producers!
Other fantastic places to visit in Colombia are Valle de Cocora and Salento. There are several excellent spots to have a family vacation. One of them is Santa Rita Fall, a magic place between the mountains where you can escape from the rest of the world.
Another great activity that you can try is a tour through a coffee land. By doing so, you will have authentic Colombia tourism and find the country’s roots.
Last but not least, you cannot miss a horse ride with Cabalgatas el Carmelo. You will go through several places on this tour, but the best of all are the views you won’t regret. After three hours of riding, I started to desire a horse. For me, the best experience of Armenia, Colombia tourism.

We enjoy almost wholly in the daytime, but where can I rest at night? Don’t worry about that, because you have two excellent options.
The first one is a more typical Colombia tourism place. Perfect for spending your family vacation, Hotel Hacienda Combia is a prominent place where you will enjoy nature, coffee, and exceptional food. At the same time, you are still in a colonial building and enjoy Colombian nature.
In the same way, you can interact with nature while you rest, but it feels like a mix between Colombia and Bali in the second hotel. Yeah, the Bio Habitat Hotel is a more open and luxury concept hotel worth paying for. I stayed in the Grand Master Suite, pool, and another worldview included. One of the best Colombia vacation spots that you can’t miss.
In both hotels, you will feel like you are in the sky. You just need to check your needs and budget. Still, you must go to Armenia and discover what Colombia has for you.
