Daily Habits for a Unique High Life.

Hello, my dears! Today I got a question for you. Have you ever set goals for the new year, but you can’t archive them?

Don’t worry; you are not the first or the last. I also had those bad moments, and I used to ask myself, “what am I doing wrong?”

The answer: Daily habits. Yeah, good habits are the key to archive success in our goals. 

That’s why today I want to share with you some habits of highly effective people. They will work as a base for the rest of your future habits and goal. Remember this, step by step, and don’t be so hard with yourself on the process. 

How to set good habits

Before going to my habits, I’d like to tell you how I started to set habits. As I mentioned above, I had bad moments, but the desire to get those healthy habits was more powerful. 

In sum, you can follow these steps: 

  1. Be specific and patient: We all want to get many things in one hit. Unfortunately, to get good habits, you need to develop one at a time. Think about a specific goal, and work on it, just on it, till you control it perfectly.
  1. Planning: After knowing the first good habit goal, make a plan. This plan should include what you will do daily alongside specific things to avoid procrastination and excuses. Developing daily habits is new for your brain, so it would like to return to its comfort zone. Be strong, don’t let it happen. 
  1. Set reminders: A lot of work or others activities can make us forget what we are trying to archive. Reminders are essential not to forget. I usually set my phone alarm at specific hours when I need to work on my daily habits. You can do it too, or use other techniques like notes on the fridge. If you miss one day, don’t discourage; just start again. 
  1. Track and Measure: You need to see how you are progressing and where you are falling. Having a dairy can be a good option. Write there your impressions… Questions like: how do I feel about my progress? Did I archive the goal? Which was today’s mistake? How can I improve? Are essential to enhance your healthy habits.
  1. Celebrate: Smalls achievements conducts to big success! Every time you complete a daily habits‘ goal, celebrate. Do what you like the most.

Just as an interesting fact, we need an average of 66 days to develop a habit. 

Healthy habits in your daily routine.

Now that we know how to set daily habits, it is time to tell you my top habits (I’d say that my solid base) to have an extraordinarily high life. 

As many of you know, I have a healthy life. It requires me to be perseverant with my exercise habits. But I also like to enjoy my time doing exercise. 

That’s an integral part of the process; enjoy what you are doing. For example, I always try something new like Zumba, aerobics, CrossFit, functional, cycling, and the last that I tried… Yoga! 

The cool part about these fitness habits is that you get a lot of benefits. The main three are these: 

  1. I feel happy and free exercising 
  2. I feel more energetic after a workout season
  3. I can always see a different perspective when I try a need sport.

You need to start doing this too. With time, you will realize the difference in your body and mind.  

Besides the exercise habits, another daily habit that I developed was to stay hydrated. It seems simple, but it is not. 

I always bring a bottle of water with me, and I set my alarm to ring several times during the day. By doing so, I can be hydrated. 

Furthermore, water is a magic solution to prevent illnesses, regulate corporal temperature, keep you active, and, very importantly, for perfect skin! 

Try this, and measure the result in one week. I promise you won’t hesitate to keep with these daily habits.

The best morning habit that you must try.

Babies, the body is important, but the mind too! While you develop daily habits, it is essential to find a balance and not get burned out. 

I’ve found that balance through meditation habits. I had never done this before until the last year, and it was the most peaceful thing that I have ever seen.

Sometimes life gets busy, and we need an escape, but we can’t travel; meditation gets there. You just need to take 5 or 10 minutes a day in a quiet place or do activities such as Yoga. 

The benefits are immense. For example, you will reduce stress and the illnesses related to it. Also, Mental illnesses are reduced alongside the pain of any kind. And if you have difficulty falling asleep, this is the magic cure. I just add, develop it as a morning habit, and you will have great days!  

In short, big goals are archived with strong daily habits, and those are healthy ones. 

I encourage you to develop these healthy habits first, and then, others will be easier. Remember, the body and the mind. Both are important in this path to success.
